In a world where “natural” and “organic” are used so freely, it’s easy to assume they mean the same thing. But when it comes to your wellbeing—and the planet’s—there’s a real difference. At Westwood Botanicals, we believe in transparency, integrity, and only using ingredients we’d genuinely want in our own daily rituals. That’s why we chose to go through the official organic certification process. Here’s what that really means.
Organic certification is not just a label—it’s a legally protected standard. In the UK, only products that meet strict, government-approved requirements can be labelled and sold as “organic.” These rules cover everything from how ingredients are grown, harvested, and processed to how products are packaged and labelled.
To gain organic certification, every part of our supply chain is inspected and audited—from the farmers growing our herbs to how we pack and store the finished blends.
We didn’t have to get certified. Plenty of brands use the word “organic” without official backing. But that’s not us.
We want you to sip your tea knowing exactly where it came from—and what’s not in it. Certification gives you that confidence.
Organic practices don’t just mean purer plants—they support biodiversity, reduce pollution, and preserve healthy soil. It’s a more conscious way of doing business.
For us, organic isn’t a buzzword. It’s a commitment. To wellness that’s deeper than surface-level. To products with purpose. To you.
We chose to work with Organic Farmers & Growers (OF&G)—one of the UK’s leading certification bodies. They’ve been working with ethical producers since 1973 and ensure full compliance with EU and UK organic regulations.
On our packaging, you’ll notice the official organic logo and our certification number. That’s your guarantee that the ingredients inside meet the highest standards—not just marketing claims.
Choosing certified organic isn’t the easy route—it’s the right one. We’re proud to go the extra mile because we believe your wellbeing deserves no shortcuts.
